Never before have I walked out of a store feeling dirty untill now. The formula for this feeling is pretty simple.
Take one young family, two young kids.
Wear you most plain clothes. Jeans and a nice non label shirt.
Wounder around the computer area. Make eye contact with the several staff members pretending to have a meeting. look interested in a potential replacement laptop for the one you had that decided to die last week.
Then move into the Tv area. Look at those nice 40 inch lcd's that you have been saving up for. Again make eye contact with the several staff members who are standing around waiting for customers with money.
Thanks Harveys P city. I wont be back to your store when I am ready to make my purchase as I appear to be a inconvenience to your oh so skilled and knowledgeable staff.
Oh and by the way, For a large multinational company your web site looks like crap.

I know what you mean, the staff at shops like this are shit. The same goes for Bond and Bond and other big store retailers of electronics. Thats why I bought my new laptop from DELL using their onlinse purchasing. I would have not have second thoughts about buying electronics online in future so that I dont have put up with the morons that dont give a shit about the customer.

dont get put off one harvey norman store coz one store did bad.
each store is owned by a different person therefore each store is different. and yes theweb site looks like shit, but we have no control of that. plus if you had asked for help im sure youd get it. were not mind readers. most of the time custy’s just want to look, put in saying that someone should of said something, i say go to tory st wellington store. great staff there.

Thanks Kelsi , The problem is I have had experianced this problem with this particular store time and time again. I have even had sale reps trying to lie to me about a particular product would meet my needs when they did not have what I requested in store ( laptop computers ).
Personally I cannot understand what they are up to especially when I made eye contact with several staff members multiple times. I can only assume.
I would also agree Tory street is alot better and I would probally be purchasing my TV from there when I am ready if you can beat noels prices
