Why is it our government is full of idiots ? I was brought up to think that people got elected to government because people liked them. Then why is its filled with dropkicks like Cullen who is destroying our economy.
Why is aunty Helen standing up saying we don't have housing problems and creating affordable housing developments that only politicians can afford?
Why is it politicians resort to childish bully tactics and make personal remarks about opponents ( yes mr Anderton , we heard your comment on Rodney's diet pills ( dickhead) )
Why do I pay over $20,000 a year in tax and still get less medical and dental than convicts ?
Why cant I afford to buy a house even though I am "middle NZ" ? why is there no capital gains tax ?
Why does the government pass laws that make practically every citizen a criminal ?
Why do you let companies rape systems that were put in place years ago. We had a good rail system that serviced most of NZ . Now the North island is down to a single passenger train service. What does no one live on the east cost ?
Why doesn't innovation get anywhere enough support but you keep bailing out farmers when its gets too sunny or too wet for them ?
Why do we give out assistance based on race ?
Why is there practically no mental health system ?
Personally I think several things need to be addressed. Take the approach of basic triage.
- We need to stop the gold rush to Australia. To do this we need to make nz more financially attractive. Start with splitting the tax rate for single income family's. We need to promote the family unit.
- Come down on supermarkets and middle men cranking up food prices. Farmers complain about how little they get at the gate. Consumers struggle to afford basics at supermarket.
- Crush finance companies lending out money to people who shouldn't be getting that money. its just stupid.
- Increase community projects to help the youth , Throw in training courses for areas such as building , brikies , sparkys whatever skills we are short of. Give these kids a career they can live for.
- Bring in capital gains tax but off set it with credits for energy saving devices like heatpumps, solar and insulation and other investments.
- Buy back the rail and get some decent electric goods service's servicing the country. This will reduce the trucks on our roads and start reducing our oil dependency. Hopefully the truck drives will make a nice transition to other needed trades where they wont get ingrown hairs in their asses.
- Get rid of about 30 - 40 politicians. Portfolios are not lollipops they should be held by people who know what they are doing and not traded.
- Sort out the student loans . There are too many career students. Create an incentive to keep the smart ones like dropping 5% per year you stay in your trade in NZ. I am sure you guys can cook the books with ird for this one.
- Crank up support for innovation. Selling 100,000 lines of code for millions overseas is better than selling just trees.
- Embrace our pacific island cousins. Allow them to get jobs easier in areas we need then and take care of them.
- Allow the police to do their jobs properly , give them Tasers, vests, big bats and make sure the courts don't piss around when it comes to sentencing. Drop the ticket quotas, in fact bring back the traffic units.
- Increase the sentencing for criminals but crime an unattractive option and build prisons in isolated areas.
- Get people off sickness benefits. If you cant do your job as brick layer because your back has been bung for 3 years get a new career.
- Sort out the gang problem , don't just focus on boy racers. Make insurance compulsory and give insurance companies access to drives ticket records.
- Stop spending money on PR companies. Do a good job , there is your PR.
and stop being so bloody PC ! you cant please every one and at the moment your trying to please the minority's.
